Congratulations! You are in the exciting, exhilarating and maybe slightly terrifying stage of welcoming a new baby into your life. Sweet snuggles, coos and sleepy eyes (yours and theirs) are coming soon.

So now it’s time to plan for photo sessions to remember the beautiful, amazing stage of carrying a child and holding that child for the first time.

Maternity Session

Maternity sessions are best done when you are around 30-33 weeks.  You look pregnant but aren’t too tired to walk around for the session. And then we have the photos just in case that little one decides to make an early arrival.

Maternity sessions last around one hour. You will receive 50+ photos on an online gallery and you can download, print and share these photos as much as you want! All of the photos come with your session price.

Newborn Session

Newborn sessions are best done before that Tiny One is two weeks old.  They are their tiny, cute, sleepy selves perfect for snuggling into your arms and cozy in wraps for photos. After about three weeks, it’s best to wait until they are four months old for photos. At four months they can look around, look into your eyes and hold themselves up a bit, so that’s another great time to do baby photos! I love both tiny, first days and slightly older four month old baby photos. 

Newborn sessions are held in your house—the baby is safe and secure in the home she knows and you have the memories of the first home she lived in. During the session we will do some photos of you, the parents and even grandparents or other siblings holding that baby, snuggling and kissing him. Then we will do some solo photos of the baby wrapped up in a basket, his crib, your bed—the cute, sweet places around your home.  We want to capture tiny toes and the love you have for this Little One.

The sessions last between 1-3 hours, but most are around 2 hours. We are on newborn time! The baby will need to be fed, comforted and wrapped. I am not rushed. I am here for you and for your tiny bundle.

Newborn sessions are only available on weekdays. Please contact me while you are still pregnant so that I can be prepared!

If both maternity and newborn sessions are booked at the same time you will receive $50 off the newborn session.

If you book the maternity session on a weekday (beginning by 15:00) you will receive $50 off of the maternity session. This discount does not apply during summer months.
